Carpinteria
Perhaps, one of the best things about Carpinteria is that, almost everything, in the downtown area, including shopping, dining, performances and historical attractions, are within walking distance, from each other, making it easy for visitors to find them.
Among the city’s most “precious” points of interest, there is the Carpinteria Valley Museum of History, a “must” for any Carpinteria visitor, Carpinteria Avenue, which is the main thoroughfare in town, Linden Avenue, where there are dozens of shops, restaurants and chic cafes, and The Salt Marsh Nature Park, one of the most important wetlands in Southern California.
The parks are also a pleasant way to spend a day in Carpinteria, Skate Park Carp being perfect for the young and active. The Farmer’s Market is where you can check out locally grown produce and beautiful flowers, and the beaches are just gorgeous.
